Tracking Sunnie's Journey

Thank you for your love, prayers, and support during this time. This page will keep you updated on Sunnie’s surgery, recovery journey, and ways you can help.

Sunnie's Journey

Everyone knows, Sunnie truly lives up to her name. She is a bright, strong, loving, and resilient woman who means so much to so many people. However, she has been facing serious health challenges over the past few years. And now, she needs a life-changing surgery and ongoing care.

This has been an unexpected and difficult time for our family and her friends, but we are staying hopeful and focused. We pray the same words that King David prayed at Psalms 119:116:

"Support me as promised, so that I may keep living; Do not let my hope turn into disappointment."

Read about Dr. Jeevanandam, the surgeon who will be performing Sunnie's heart transplant at UChicago Medicine.

Please pray along with us. Every prayer, share, and contribution truly makes a difference.
